Zilveren dukaat of rijksdaalder 1816. Sch.235. Prooflike uiterlijk. Uiterst scherp geslagen en van unieke kwaliteit. FDC. In 43 jaar numismatiek heb ik deze munt nimmer in deze zeer uitzonderlijke kwaliteit gezien. Alle exemplaren die ik ben tegengekomen zijn altijd zwak geslagen, mogelijk omdat de stempels zeer snel zijn versleten. Het betreft hier 2 van de eerste afslagen, vermoedelijk als uniface (zodat de ontvanger in een oogopslag beide zijden van de munt kon zien) setje cadeau gedaan aan een hooggeplaatst persoon. Wij bieden beide unieke stukken apart aan, maar begrijpen als u beide kavels wilt kopen.
