Thessalos, with cloak and petasos over his shoulders, leaping left, both feet off the ground, holding a rushing bull by a band around its head / ΛΑΡΙ / ΣΑΙΑ, bridled horse with trailing rein galloping to right; all within shallow incuse square. Circa 405/0-370 BC. AR Drachm [6,18 gm, 18,80 mm]. Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly right / ΛAPI above, horse right, grazing with head lowered. L-S Group 4, Head Type 23, dies O106/R4; BCD Thessaly II 249 (same dies); HGC 4, 430. Reverse slight die shift, fresh dies. Choice EF.
