Late 5th-mid 4th century BC. AR Drachm [6,01 gm, 19,30 mm]. Signed by the engraver Telephantos. Head of Athena to right, wearing pearl necklace and a crested Attic helmet adorned with a figure of Skylla to right, her left hand raised to shade her eyes; in tiny letters behind neck, [TH / MI] / Φ-A / P-Σ (last two letters retrograde). VF.

AR Stater [5,40 gm, 21,10 mm]. Thrasylo(s), Her(a)..., and Pausa(nias), magistrates. Head of Zeus right, wearing oak wreath / Athena Itonia advancing right, holding spear and shield; ΘΕΣΣΑ−ΛΩΝ flanking, ΘPA-ΣΥΛO above spear, HP monogram in upper inner right field, Π-AY/Σ-A across lower central field. BCD Thessaly II 857.5 (same dies). Darkly toned VF.

Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm [3,11 gm, 15,80 mm]. Youthful hero, Thessalos, nude but for cloak and petasos hanging over his shoulder, striding right, but facing front; twisting, with both hands, a band around the head of the forepart of a bull, rushing to right / Τ - ΡΙ - ΚΚ - Α - Ι - ΩΝ (partially retrograde) Forepart of horse to right; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II, 781.3 (same dies). BMFA 933 (same dies). Beautiful style. EF.

Circa 460-440 B.C. AR Tetradrachm [17,14 gm, 22,10 mm]. Head of Athena right, wearing multiple pendant necklace, round earring, and crested Attic helmet ornamented with three olive leaves over visor and spiral palmette on bow / ΑΘΕ, owl with closed wings standing three-quarters right, olive spring and crescent moon behind, all in incuse square.
