Censor Bu.JC1b. Soesoehan not recorded, Kanigoro most likely the only recorded example (vNV.RRR)

20 Sen no. 026 in pair on homemade postcard from the 'Lasjkar-Merah' of Kediri (Red Army of the PKI = Partai Komunis Indonesia, the Indonesian Communist Party). The card is registered (R-label of Pati used in Koedoes) and sent from Koedoes 24.12.47.-9 to Djokjakarta. Censor Bu.RC1b. A historical document!

15 Sen no. 031A (4x) on cover from Djokjakarta 31.5.47.12 by express to Djakarta, but returned to sender. Improvised label 'Kombali Si Pengirim / Isi soerat dalam SAMPOEL tida boleh lebih dari 1 helai dan oekoeran terbatas hanja 20 x 30 cM.' (in the cover the letter should not be more than one piece and the limited size of only 20 x 30 cm). We have not seen a similar label before. A very interesting item for postal historians!

50 Sen no. 034A in block of four and single, and 200 sen 038A on a roughly opened cover registered from Solo 11.12.48.12 'By kindness of the help of the American Consulate General' in Batavia to the 'Indonesian Delegation' in Djokjakarta 12.12.48.21 (so that has probably not been necessary).
