Postcard in exceptional quality with two eye-catching strikes of the beautiful postmark (type 050). Exhibition piece!

Sent from Dabosingkep 2605 1.2. (2 Jan 1945) via Syonan (Singapore) 2605 2.9. (9 Feb 1945) to Tandjongbalei (in Asahan, Sumatra) 20.3.-9. (9 March 1945). The Registered Letter was not used in the Dutch East Indies, usage in the Riouw Islands during the war makes it quite unique.
