The stamp is tied in black by the commemorative cachet for the Pasar Malam (= Evening Market) in Denpasar 2604-10-17/24, vNV.446z. Extremely rare cachet of which only 3 are recorded, 2 on postcards and on this cover the only one known. See: vN. p.101

Also First Day Cover of the definitive issue bearing 2, 3, 3½, 5 and 10 cent tied by Teikoku Seifu pmk Makasser. The 10 cent was issues on 2 July 1943, the other values on 8 August 1943.
