Japanese Military fieldpost reply card Bu.F3 from occupied Dutch New Guinea, unit 5170 = 21st Water Supply and Purification Department attached to the 2nd Army, sent to Tokyo. Unlisted censor mark with chop Yamazumi and Kasuya. Text includes he heard about the fierce battle at Leite and the bombing raid on Tokyo. He hopes all are well and writes he received a letter saying his uncle had passed away. Also writes he sent his salary to his wife on January 20 and hopes they receive this card before April 12th.
