WORLD, used and unused collection in 2 "Universal Briefmarken albums", 2nd edition 1894, safely preserved in cassettes. Some off-setting, foxing and spotting, but also internally in remarkably good condition. All plates, maps and leaves present. In addition to the stamps required up to 1893, the collector added stamps and series up to 1915 on original publisher's slip-in leaves, and classified these accurately. No stamps before 1915 in the original albums! The quality of the stamps differs strongly: from very good to damaged, from valuable to cheap. The poor copies are indicated with an x in pencil, and as every stamp is hinged and not pasted to the paper, removal is easy. Some countries strongly represented, f.e. Belgium, Persia, Japan and the Dutch East Indies. An extensive and truly authentic collection!
