POW & CI. British 1½d. POW postcard from Llandudno, Wales, 4 Aug 1945 from a mother to her son in a POW camp on Java, showing cachet 'Service/Suspended/Return to/Sender'

Sumatra. Indonesian Camp for Civilian Internees. Lined sheet from a notebook used as stationery, written on 30-9-1945 in the camp in Rantau Prapat (= Aekpamienke), from 23-8-1945 to 1-11-1945 an ex-Japanese camp, where women and children by Indonesians were interned. The letter, written by a daughter to her parents in The Hague (not knowing '...if you are still alive'), was sent via Bombay 15-10-1945 with on the back various postmarks and on the front an Indian postage due stamp. A special letter in every way!

Most interesting

NICA. 1 Cent and 2½ cent Kreisler with watermerk, orange anchor overprint and violet NICA TIMOR (Bessels type NT-1a), cancelled with large circular emergency postmark ´Kantorpos/Waingapoe 20 . .´ (not situated on Timor, but on Soemba). Genuinely used, presumably together on the same postal entire (postcard?). Echt gebruikt, hebben mogelijk samen op een poststuk (briefkaart?) gezeten. Probably unique!

General. 3½ Cent definitive issue with machine overprint REPOEBLIK/INDONESIA KPI.J10 in block of four, cancelled Djakarta-/Yamatobasi 16.1.46

1st Series. 10 + 10 Sen Bull. Imperforated colour proofs, 5 proofs each with different colour combinations, affixed on an envelope (every of the 5 envelopes have paperclip rust, not on the proof). Rare and valuable set for the specialist!

1st Series. Perforation proofs. 10 + 10 sen perf 11½:11 no. J23D (DN.023pa) and 20 + 20 sen perf 11 no. J24E (DN.024pa) both in blocks of 32 (20 sen 1 stamp damaged). Rp. 44,800,000. Scarce!

1st Series. 20+20 sen, imperforated, ungummed colour proof in blue-black and red KPI.J24ABd in complete sheet of 50 stamps, printed on a part of a used form meant as an export license of damar (Dutch language, 1938). Few brown spots but otherwise a rare and most interesting item for the specialist!

Revolution Series. Imperforated, ungummed colour proofs of the 5 sen in smaller size than the issued stamp, in grey KPI.J29ACb in vertical corner strip of four, and in green KPI.J29ACc in block of nine with sheet margins

4th Series, 50 sen in sheet of 100 partly with mirror printing except for the position of another sheet. We have not seen this before
