Cover bearing 6 stamps with black Makasser anchor overprint cancelled Makassar (Teikoku Seifu postmark) and written ´Kakitome´ (= registered), with destination Depok on the island of Java. The post office of Makasser put a label on the envelope with Indonesian text meaning that the transmission of registered post to Java has not yet been cleared by the Minseifu, therefore the cover was sent by regular mail to Soerabaja and from there it can be sent by registered mail to the addressee in Depok, which happened on 30.3.05. Most interesting postal-historical cover and an attractive exhibition item!

South Celebes. 7½ Cent Dancer with black Makasser anchor overprint no. 113z-71 on letter sheet without stamp imprint (printed in 1940), cancelled Makassar (Teikoku Seifu), sent to Djakarta. Very rare postal item and only a few known to us (see Dai Nippon catalogue, p.353)

North Celebes. 3½ Cent Kreisler with large orange ball in combination with black Menado anchor overprint and with black bar through country name no. 171o/150z-19a on home-made postcard from Manado (name in Latin script, vNV. type 310) to Djakarta, written ´tida dikenal´ (= unknown), location Djati Baroe in Djakarta changed into Gambir Selatan with red pen, red date stamp 14 AUG 04. Stamp scarce on postal entire!

North Celebes. 10 Cent Van Konijnenburg with small red ball in combination with violet Menado anchor overprint and with black bar through country name no. 161r/150v-43II on cover, cancelled Toli Toli (Teikoku Seifu pmk) in violet, sent to Djakarta

North Celebes. 20 Cent Kreisler with large orange ball in combination with black Menado anchor overprint and with black bar through country name no. 171o/150z-27b cancelled Gorontalo (Teikoku Seifu in black) on money order for a transfer of 10 guilders on 19.7.5 to Tomohon 19.7.9 (see also Dai Nippon catalogue, p.383)
