Bali. 30 Cent Kreisler with lilac Lombok anchor overprint no. 521l-29a as a single franking on a registered cover of 5 grams from Singaradja to Soerabaja 23.11.04, both the stamp and the registration label cancelled in red with the special cachet for commemorating the gift of a fighter plane (vNV. type 445r), used in Singaradja (and Denpasar) during Oct and Nov 1944

Lesser Soenda Islands. Lombok. 60 and 80 Cent, 1 and 2 gulden Van Konijnenburg respectively with lilac (80 cent black) Bali anchor overprint nos. 542l-52k, 54k, 55g and 542z-53k on the front of a registered cover from Ampenan to Djatinegara on Java, with written date 20-10-16, cancelled with Teikoku Seifu postmark of Ampenan. Lesser Soenda Islands. 3½ Cent postcard type Kreisler with overprints of the Japanese flag in red and Dai Ni Hon Teikoku Seifu in Japanese characters in violet, applied on Bali, however not cancelled but used on Java, from Banjoewangi to Djakarta. It could be that the writer (family correspondence) took this postcard to Banjoewangi, just across Bali, and sent it from there. Most unusual

Lombok. 10 Cent on 12½ cent postal stationery envelope with Lombok anchor overprint type 542z (Bu. unlisted) bearing Japanese stamp J17, 30 and 50 cent definitive issue, cancelled with Teikuko Seifu postmark of Ampenan, sent registered to Djatinegara. Only a few copies known of this envelope with this overprint!

Lombok. 10 Cent on 12½ cent postal stationery envelope with green Bali anchor overprint Bu.270 bearing 5 cent definitive issue, 50 cent Kreisler with green Bali anchor overprint, 40 cent and 1 gulden Van Konijnenburg with red (40 cent) and orange (1 gulden) overprint nos. 04, 532g-34a, 531r-50 and 531o-54k, cancelled with Teikuko Seifu postmark of Ampenan, sent registered to Djakarta. The 50 cent Kreisler with green anchor is a very rare stamp (cat. € 900)

Bali. 4 Cent Anchor and Cherry Blossom postcard in brownish lilac on thick paper (vertical crease), Kartoe Pos 50 mm, 5 Japanese characters 45 mm, cancelled with Teikoku Seifu postmark from Gianjar, censored in Denpasar,sent to Singaradja. So far this is the only example of this (unlisted in Bu.) genuinely used postcard we are aware of, a second copy is philatelically used on 10.10.45.
