Handstamped TJIREBON in black on 5 sen KPI.J11 on locally sent home-made postcard (´Pabrik Rokok Tjiribon´), adjacent stamp removed, written ´+ 10 sen´, not accepted as valid, cds Tjirebon 5.1.6 not cancelled on the stamp, postage due 10 cent affixed and cancelled 7.1.6. This revenue used as postage stamp is extremely rare if genuinely used on postal entire. Wonderful addition to your exhibition collection!

Java. 5 Sen on 5 sen Japanese occupation postcard Bu.RJ1c, KPI.JK-8B, showing variety 'wrong cut'. Most unusual

Java. Proof for the special postcard with additional surcharge of 100 sen to 'support our young delegates going abroad' type Bu.RJ18, JK-25, pink colored on light creamy thin paper, Alamat without quotes. Very rare and seldom offered!

Java. 30 sen on 40 sen KPI.S51 for Sumatra pasted over the image of the 3½ sen Kreisler postcard from the Japanese occupation period, written at Djambi 22 June 1948 by the head of the police, most likely carried to Java by not using the ordinary postal services, then cancelled at the capital of the Republik Indonesia Djokjakarta 10.8.48 and sent to 'teman sedjawat' (peers) at the police office in Kediri. On 1 August 1948 the postal rate has increased to 100 sen, on the front a T in circle is cancelled with autograph dated 25/8 '48 (see: Yan Wiriadi Jodana, A study of... on p.273). A censor mark Telah Ditilik in frame is very faintly visable. A most stunning (postal) historical item for your exhibition collection!

Sumatra. 3½ Cent postcard type Kreisler from the Japanese occupation with violet overprint 'Rep. Indonesia' (24 mm) and two 'T' postage paid marks Bu.RS9c (crease hardly visable) typewritten in Koetaradja 24/2-1946, sent on 21.2.23. to Medan. The cds is from Atjeh, post office of origin not visable (Koetaradja?), Bu. does mention the overprint in red, not in violet. Rare postcard! € 350+

Sumatra. 5 Sen in pair with ORI overprint on Identity card Bu.RF45 (RRR) cancelled Bangkinang 18.5.48. The new rate is 10 sen, obviously earlier than stated by Bulterman (1-8-1948). Extremely rare postal document in very fine condition!

Sumatra. 10 sen on 15 sen no. S47 in pair on request receipt of acknowledgement Bu.RF50a from Lais to PTT Pusat at Boekittinggi, the stamps being encircled and with pencil written ´ditjatat 16/11-48´ (noted, 16 Nov 1948). Rare postal document!
